Living in Milan makes the passing of seasons particularly felt. Light changes, the city sheds its cloak without becoming bare, and so does the way one lives, moves, dresses. Spring turning into summer brings a sense of possibility. Layers peel away. The body feels different.

Show Space

The bright, pared-back show set features resin-coated Karton Hocker by artist Illya Goldman Gubin, each formed from an original cardboard box crumpled in the artist’s embrace, with a handcrafted leather flower resting on each seat.

A site-specific sound piece by artist Florian Hecker features 20 suspended structures that pair loudspeakers with stainless steel sound reflectors, playing a cloud-like composition. The collection is accompanied by an original soundtrack by British artist Mark Leckey, weaving together genres and eras from the 1960s through the 1990s.
