HAMMER MUSEUM'S 14TH ANNUAL GALA IN THE GARDEN

In keeping with the house's longstanding committment to culture and arts, Bottega Veneta returned to Los Angeles to support, for the 4th consecutive year, the Hammer Museum’s Gala in the Garden, which honours and celebrates visionary and individuals who have changed the landscape of the arts with their unique contributions and perspective.

Creative Director Tomas Maier was once again co-chair of the event, along with Jodie Foster and Alexandra Hedison. The honourees celebrated this year were artist and musician Laurie Anderson and filmmaker Todd Haynes. The evening also included tribute speeches by author Karl Ove Knausgaard and actress Sarah Paulson, as well as a music performance by Rufus Wainwright.

The sold-out Gala benefits the Hammer Museum at UCLA, in support of their renowned exhibitions and collections that span classic to contemporary art, as well as free public programs that spark meaningful encounters with art and ideas.
