INTERIOR PROJECTS - THE ST. REGIS FLORENCE

THE ST. REGIS FLORENCEDesigned in the early 15th century as a palace for local nobility by Filippo Brunelleschi, the architect of the Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore, the building on the banks of the Arno that houses the St. Regis Florence was converted to a hotel in the mid-1800's. Its lengthy renovation in recent years employed techniques to preserve its architectural integrity, carried out by local artisans, products and elements – with the result that the spirit of the city and its history is evident everywhere. The spacious Bottega Veneta suite, consisting of a bedroom, two baths, and a living/dining room, instantly envelops guests with its gentle palette - a range of muted neutrals and soft, earthy colors. Designed entirely by Bottega Veneta, the interiors furniture, fabrics and accessories draw from the brand's collections, while wall colors, paintings, mirrors, and even books were chosen to reflect the identity of both city and brand. From the wood selected for floors, which are at times covered with custom-dyed carpets to highlight signature furniture, to the one-of-a-kind television console and mini bar designed especially for the suite, down to finishing details such as intrecciato frames and desk accessories, the result is a suite of serenity and elegance, an interior that embraces the artistic legacy of Florence while offering an experience of exceptional craftsmanship, luxury and comfort.< INTERIOR PROJECTS
