The art of collaboration

Spring-Summer 2006 – Stephen Shore

Location: Winfield Hall, Woolworth Estate, Long Island The Spring/Summer 2006 collection was an unabashed celebration of beauty. The overall mood was innocent, open, and feminine. The clothes were marked by a purity of line and an exuberance of color, detail, and delicacy. Stephen Shore, who pioneered the use of color in art photography, worked with Tomas Maier to shoot the campaign at the Woolworth Estate in Long Island. The pictures offer rich tableaux combining tradition, passion, and sophistication. Shore’s portrayal of light, space, and experience lend to the campaign a sense of anticipation and intrigue that underscores the ultimately private way we experience beauty.
