In this campaign, shot with the artist Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Bottega Veneta left the studio and headed to Wall Street. DiCorcia was an inspired choice to navigate the transition from the brand’s earlier product-only focus to a broader, more expansive sense of identity. DiCorcia’s imagery questions the distinction between documenting and creating what’s real. Authenticity and artifice, exposure and elusiveness—the artist layers these provocations within images that are formally gorgeous. For this campaign, designed to present a collection of light, order, and ease, diCorcia plays with the natural vertical lines and reflections of Wall Street to offer an eerie, elegant take on the season.
