The art of collaboration

Fall-Winter 2006 2007 – Lord Snowdon

Location: Studio, Milan
For a collection of precise geometry in a quiet palette of brown-black, pepper, salt, and gray, Bottega Veneta turned to the legendary British photographer Lord Snowdon. While Snowdon’s work encompasses everything from still lifes to photojournalism, he is best known for portraits that are direct, evocative, and often austere. For Bottega Veneta he created a series of black-and-white portraits that underlined the brand’s steadfast focus on the individual while capturing the play of line and curve that characterized the collection.
