The art of collaboration

Cruise 2008 2009 – Todd Eberle

Location: 40 Mercer, SoHo, New York City
Todd Eberle, a photographer whose work includes striking images of modern architecture, shot Bottega Veneta’s first-ever Cruise advertising campaign. The collection was an expansive one, designed to look right in all climates, at any time of day, in the city or at the ocean. The silhouette is long and soft, the clothes contoured by means of pleats, visible stitching, and color blocking. The campaign was shot in a residential building designed by Jean Nouvel (and furniture by Donald Judd), an expressive space to which Eberle brought his unique understanding of line and color to underscore the graphic impact of the collection.
