Bottega Veneta is pleased to present a refined porcelain dinner service made in collaboration with legendary German porcelain manufacturer Koenigliche Porzellan-Manufaktur, or KPM. Named Intreccio Svanito and introduced in 2008, this unique porcelain service is as exquisitely crafted as it is functional.
Every piece is shaped by hand and meticulously hand-painted with a border inspired by Bottega Veneta’s signature intrecciato weave. This year, Bottega Veneta and KPM have expanded the collection, adding new items including breakfast settings with complete coffee and tea services. Deep bowls have also been added to enhance the functionality of the line.
While the pattern evokes a sense of time passed, the design of the service is decidedly contemporary. The elements are conceived to be multi-use and accommodate many culinary traditions. There are no serving pieces, reflecting a less formal approach to serving as well as the preference of many to create a personalized table by mixing different styles and patterns. Each piece of Intreccio Svanito is numbered by the artist in addition to bearing the marks of KPM and Bottega Veneta. For special occasions, or to make the everyday extraordinary.
