Location: Financial Distict, NYC In this campaign, shot with the artist Philip-Lorca diCorcia, Bottega Veneta left the studio and headed to Wall Street. DiCorcia was an inspired choice to navigate the transition from the brand’s earlier product-only focus to a broader, more expansive sense of identity. diCorcia’s imagery questions the distinction between documenting and creating what’s real. Authenticity and artifice, exposure and elusiveness - the artist layers these provocations within images that are formally gorgeous. For this campaign, designed to present a collection of light, order, and ease, diCorcia plays with the natural vertical lines and reflections of Wall Street to offer an eerie, elegant take on the season.
